Tsuyoshi appearance at the fashion school

Riva has translated all tracks from the new single (if you can't find the link, she will do it soon) and her further explanation is really surprising to me..

Read from oricon/glocaly,

Yesterday, Tsuyoshi was attending a special lecture at Tokyo Mode school for an hour (15:40 - 16:40).
堂本剛、シークレットライブで激励「自分を信じて」.
This is the topic I guess. Domoto Tsuyoshi, Secret Live encouragement? 「Believe in yourself」 (I guess^^'). Please forget it xD
The special class was attended by 550 students. Tsuyoshi spoke about his collaboration with CA4LA and also performed the new single 「RAIN」 (lucky students >.>).
What a way to promoto fashion and music together^^

Snapshot from Zoom in (finally a friend share the clip^^)

Someone called him, Tsuyoshi sensei^^'

SHOCK-ing Koichi

I wait for my copy before saying something about RAIN.
So, here's my review for the latest interest me, Koichi musical stage, SHOCK^^'

I was able to download 'Endless SHOCK 2005' and it's with English subtitle (fans is always awesome). And I watched it without a blink. I'm kidding of course, but it was awesome. I'm sure it isn't easy to sing while dance. Even though I feel weird in the end, I gave many applause at mostly performances. It was 3 hours stunning moment. Where have I been?? I'm sorry Koichi.. Yappari ne, I'm so slow :(

Anyway, the fact that it was always held at Tokyo Imperial Theater is one thing. But, the fact that Koichi can do many things, dangerous things are another thing. I'm really shock to see that. What was he thinking to do it by himself?? What are you aim for, Koichi?^^'
I hardly believe that the stiff Koichi I've seen on tv can be so flexible and smoothly do the stage act. Okay, I guess I couldn't stop praising him, so let me quote some facts from the net.

Shock is a famous musical in Japan led by Koichi Domoto. As of March 2009, it has been performed annually for ten years since 2000. The final show for the 2009 season was the 651th show of this series. Reputedly, it is very difficult to obtain premium tickets to the show (wikipedia).

Since 2000 *ups*.
10 years? Amazing. Both KinKi are amazing boys.
It was written at the credit note that the book, producer and .... is done by Johnny Kitagawa. I assume that the idea of the show is from the owner himself?
The other Johnny's boys that participated in the show; Imai Tsubasa, MA and A.B.C. was wonderful. The first time I saw Tsubasa did dance^^'. His figure is perfect, tall and slim and he's very flexible? Nice moves, Tsubasa.
Read that there's also Ikuta Toma, Nishikido Ryo, Okura Tadayoshi in other shows.

*Snapshot time*

Koichi did tap dance~!

Taiko...

Dual dance is cool~

Some of the awesome yet dangerous acts

fufufuuu... pretty
Kuroki Meisa is a lucky girl^^'

kakkoii~

The famous open arms^^'

I shouldn't too shock with these parts, but I am shocked :p

There have been five versions of the musical:

  • Millennium Shock (2000)
  • Shock (2001-2002)
  • Shock is Real Shock (2003)
  • Shocking Shock (2004)
  • Endless Shock (2005–2009)
So, what I have watched so far is Endless Shock 2005. I wonder whether the story and the performances are the same every year? I've seen some clips from various year that have the same part such as flying, twisting on the rope, drums/taiko. But, I noticed that at the end of the show, Koichi had a talk and he said something like, "Koichi role in this show was died but..". I wonder the story is continuing from the start? I need to search more, I need to ask Ching ching.
I won't rush myself, but I'd love to watch the other SHOCK. SHOCK-ing me more, Koichi xD

Tsuyoshi, RAIN, Beret, E☆E Live Tour

Today is kind of special?^^'

- The date is 09.09.09
- The release of Domoto Tsuyoshi new single 'RAIN'
- The first sale of Domoto Tsuyoshi collaboration hat with CA4LA
- SMAP 18 years anniversary since their debut!
- My little nephew is a month old now^^'

- We will have a fasting break together with the whole staff :p

☆ The most awaited is Tsuyoshi new single, RAIN.
The fact that Tsuyoshi has a new name for the production label of this single rather than RainbowENDLI9, is interesting. The new name he used is MANDARAT.D.

Searching on google and this is what we found about Mandara or Mandala. (Still) relating to Buddhism. Let me try to dig in.

Basically Mandara means circle. In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically, a microcosm of the Universe from the human perspective (reference).
Another source mentioned that the mandala is actually a 3-dimensional phenomenon, and making of such a mandala requires much time and expertise, which explains why actual 3-dimensional models are quite rare (reference).
Let's see Tsuyoshi's mandara here:

Compare to other mandara, is he create his own? I wonder the meaning of his painting then.
I have to stop now, it's too heavy for me to understand. One thing I knew, Tsuyoshi never stop to learn (read books) xD
But notice this two picture (I forgot what magzazine), it has the mandara art touch?

☆ Someone kindly give me the beret package??
and yappari the other color is purple^^'. The last color will release on September 30. What would it be?

At the site, it was said that the beret is came along with the CD for ¥6250 *ups*
There's something written as BOW CD (帽 CD). Bow, Rainbow?

帽 = bou = hat.

☆ Announcement of E☆E Live Tour from October - November, here.
I wonder whether there'll be new KinKi Kids album?

Rain on Sunday morning...

The PV is out and I love it!

credit: Tokyocalling565

The tune of the song reminds me of Bob Dylan's Knocking on Heaven's Door.
Looking at the PV, I was notice that for each instrument I heard, on the PV it's Tsuyoshi who play the instrument. Tsuyoshi all band? xD Though, it's really not like that, but I wonder whether he really play them all for the song? Can't be, isn't it? I can't wait for my copy.
Read the translated of the song, and I am illiterate regarding any poetic thing. I always behind when comes to interpreting Tsuyoshi's lyrics. But, I know I enjoy his music^^'

Just received an email telling me that my order has been shipped today!

Another Koichi bits

This is from Tetsuko's Room (Tetsuko no Heya) 2007.07.26 (thanks to hakka51244 for the sub!).

The show hosted by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi-san. Apparently she's the author of the lovely book "Totto-chan, the Little Girl at the Window". I've read the book many years ago.
Koichi was questioned about his work as KinKi Kids, his musical "SHOCK", and his private life.

Interesting~

Most questions are questioned often in other interview but I haven't watch/read about his musical "SHOCK". Up until now, I have no interest about the show. The main reason is I have no knowledge about a stage play and I don't really interest in dance. But following this talk has influence on me.
I'd like to watch the show. Searching at Yesasia and found out that there's no HK/Taiwan version of SHOCK DVD. Even the Japan version is all sold out! Whoah, I'm impressed! I guess I have to ask Ching ching to lend me her SHOCK DVD collection? The problem is my player is region 3 :(

*edited*
Lucky that I found an English subbed of SHOCk 2005, can't wait till it finished downloaded^^'

I totally forgot that I haven't download and watch this show! I guess I was in no pc at that time?
No idea, but yesterday I was lurking to find subbed shows that I haven't had and walaa.. found two of Koichi's: Tetsuko no heya and Ai no Apron. Thanks to hakka51244 for the sub~

This is from Ai no Apron 2007.08.15
Not many times I can see Koichi eating and show some expressions :p

I didn't know that leader is the host xD

He couldn't hide his nervous face, watched leader making the sushi^^

Koichi side view is umai desu ne?^^'

Well done, Sushi Ouji!

Can you tell? Except for the tamaki sushi, the other sushi looks the same to me :p

Saa.. I never enjoyed eating sushi before, but I guess I want to give it a try, next time^^'
