I watched 'The Host' last night at Jiffest event. The movie is a surprise movie. So most of the audience didn't know what movie for the surprise. Me and my friends knew what it was from the website and radio. Don't know why people didn't know.

Blockbuster 'The Host' is the most-watched, most-wanted movie to see this year. 'The Host' directed by Bong Joon-ho (Barking dog never bite, Memories of Murder) Carries Off Six Trophies at Korea Film Awards. When "The Host" premiered in late July, the film sold 6 million tickets in its first 11 days, setting a new record. (Arirang, English.chosun)

'The Host' casts: Song Kang-ho (39), Byun Hee-bong, Bae Doo-na, Park Hae-il, Ko Ah-sung.
They are Gang-doo, who although not the most responsible of fathers fights the monster with his bare hands to rescue his only daughter; grandpa Hee-bong, who looks after his granddaughter Hyun-seo as well as his two sons and one daughter; uncle Nam-il who always grumbles but comes through when it matters; demure aunt Nam-joo; and Gang-doo's daughter Hyun-seo. In the background, we see an ominous image of the Han River, from where the monster will emerge.
The film pits that average family against a monster with huge sharp teeth, the head of a fish and a reptilian body that cost nearly half of the production budget to create. (english.chosun)

Suspense with add comedy, it's a must to see. I highly recommend it.
