The double Domotos, namely Domoto Koichi and Domoto Tsuyoshi, celebrate the duo's 10th anniversary with their third greatest hit compilation, 39. The album title was chosen because the pronunciation of the number in Japanese, "Sankyuu", sounds similar to the English word "Thank You", and the release also features 39 songs. The album comes as a triple CD combo with hits picked by fans through a survey and favorites selected by Koichi and Tsuyoshi.
Among the highlights of the song list are Koi Namida ("Tears of Love"), Ame no Melody ("Rain Melody") and Shunrai ("Spring Thunder"). Also featuring the song Music of Live (previously unreleased on CD), 39 offers the most extensive Kinki Kids song collection to date.
